Happy Spring...I think. The weather has been all over the place it is hard to say what season it is. However, I am excited for spring because I am starting my very first garden. 🌱

I’ve dabbled in a few potted plants before…but a full garden? This is new territory. So, wish me luck—and please send all the tips and tricks my way! I welcome any advice.

I’ll be starting with some transplants and see where things go. And honestly, the more I think about it, the more caring for a garden feels like a practice in yoga.

In both gardening and yoga, we begin with a strong foundation and nurture growth over time. Just as plants need water, sunlight, and patience, our practice asks us to show up with intention, consistency, and a willingness to learn. The changes aren’t always visible day to day, but slowly, something shifts and grows. Whether it’s time on your mat, learning something new, gardening, or even tending to everyday tasks, you’re cultivating mindfulness, patience, and a deeper connection within yourself.

We truly harvest what we sow.

So here’s to trying something new, getting a little messy, and seeing what grows both in gardening and in yoga.

Something you’ve learned about yourself through yoga: I’ve learned to be more intentional in my thoughts and movements, to better engage with the moment.

Tell us a fun fact about you: I painted a cover to a published comic book.

Carly has been joining our virtual classes on Tuesdays and Fridays, and it’s been such a joy to watch her step into her practice. Even as someone newer to yoga, she shows up with so much curiosity, dedication, and heart—you can truly feel her growth each week. Her energy adds something really special to our space, and I’m so grateful she’s part of this community 💛

VIRTUAL YOGA

Classes are held every Tuesday and Friday at 6:00AM via zoom. First class is free!

Month Theme

Props support us in moving into, holding, and transitioning out of poses with greater ease and confidence. In this series, we’ll use a variety of props to revisit familiar shapes and discover them in new, supportive ways. Each class will highlight a specific prop, helping you deepen your practice while creating a more accessible and enriching experience.

Class Membership & Packages

  1. Monthly Live Virtual Class Membership - $70 This is recurring payment plan. It will be charged one every month.

  2. Monthly Live Virtual Class Package - $75 This is a one time payment to use for the month. The package will expire 30 days after you first use it.

  3. Drop In Rate - $15

Forms of Payment:

The website accepts credit cards. I also accept cash, check (payable to Sarah Cheffy), or Venmo. If you use one of these payment methods, you’ll receive a confirmation email—however, you will still need to register separately for each class.

2026 FALL YOGA RETREAT

A Journey through the Chakras

Description:

Discover how to open and align your chakras to activate your energy system and nurture your spiritual awareness. There are seven major energy centers known as the chakras that run from the base of your spine to the crown of your head. During this weekend retreat, we will explore and align all seven chakras through physical asana practice, pranayama/breathing techniques, meditation, essential oils, and sound healing. Come getaway at the beach and deepen your understanding of yoga and the chakra system.

1 King Room with private bathroom (max 2 ppl) $925 per person/ $975

*Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Your retreat investment includes lodging, all scheduled yoga sessions and instructional workshops with materials provided, plus meals: 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch, and 2 dinners.

Sharing a room? Each guest receives $150 off.

Massages are not included in the retreat price but are available as an optional add-on. Therapeutic sessions will be offered by Tracy Green of Hand Crafted Massage & Crafts and can be booked à la carte.

THE YOGA CONNECTION CELEBRATION!

Celebration!

On Tuesday, March 24 The Yoga Connection hosted its last day of the spring semester! I had the pleasure and opportunity to be one of the teachers that got to share. The word of the day was presence. We explored what it means to present - arrive, root, offer, open, and receive. We arrived in our bodies, grounded through breath and movement, created space to both offer and receive just as we are. Having presence is a gift that we can give to ourselves daily. It was truly a gift to be with these women these past 8 weeks. Our fall sessions starts September 8th.
